WACO, Texas, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Colt McCoy completed 25 of 34 passes for 293 yards and a touchdown Saturday as the 18th-ranked Texas Longhorns beat Baylor 31-10.

Vondrell McGee ran for 57 yards and a TD, and Jamaal Charles for 49 yards for the Longhorns. Nate Jones caught six passes for 72 yards and a touchdown, and Jermichael Finley caught five for 60 yards for Texas (6-2, 2-2 Big 12), which had 473 yards total offense.

Baylor quarterback Michael Machen passed for 231 yards on 25-of-44 passing with a touchdown and three interceptions. Justin Akers had 77 yards on nine receptions and David Gettis caught four passes for 73 yards.

The Bears (3-5, 0-4) lost their fourth straight and have lost eight straight conference games since last October.
